(For Wood Protection)
Large scale worldwide de-forestation in the near past
and a virtual ban on cutting of wood led to the use
of wood composites (boards, plywood) where some varieties
of fast growing trees whose wood, as it is, is not
suitable for the construction industry and in few
cases agricultural waste e.g. bagasse are used. The
manufacturers claim that these articles are not only
cheaper but also resistant to termites/wood borers
but examples to the contrary, in our day-to-day life,
are plenty.
Looking
into the need of the wood protection area covering
both pre- and post construction, a number of preservatives
are available in the market but the results are not
up to the mark. Simply brushing the chemical on the
wood surface is n0ot enough as, at times, these insects
have their homes deep inside and in the case of borers
what comes in contact with the chemicals is the powdered
wood pushed out through tiny holes and no the insect.
We,
at Midas, aimed our target at not only developing
a herbal, safer wood preservative but also to bring
about a change in the application method to combat
this problem in a more effective way. The herbal Khatnil
lead already in hand therefore, became our starting
g point. Once again plants or plant parts whose properties
do fulfill our objective were identified and this
"Herbal Khatnil
B/T" for
wood was successfully developed.
USE
- Using the attached syringe inject Khatnil Liquid
liberally into the holes from where the wood powder
is ejected by the borers.
For heavy infections just flood the affected area
with Khatnil Liquid.
For termites, wet the channels with Khatnil Liquid.
This application method is easy enough for you to
do the job yourself.
Pack
available in - 200ml, 1lt, 5 lt.
